Had a dream I was in a real life Coriolis station...

Just had a strange dream last night about being in a real life Coriolis station. It was more like a nightmare than anything else though.

The only thing that was consistent was the feeling of dread about being light years away from any form of life-sustaining planet or any means of getting there in the first place. The station itself was huge and complex, as were our ships, etc. Absolutely anything could go wrong, and it did. Something about the station malfunctioned and it was being evacuated. I was one of the few who had to wait for the last trip and we only had about 15 hours of air left.

Floating outside the entrance of the station, I remember thinking how easily my equipment could fail and prayed that there wasn't any kinks, tears, holes, or rust while holding on with white knuckles to a velcro strap so I didn't go floating off into oblivion as we waited for help to arrive, hoping that they themselves didn't have any malfunctions (leaky gaskets, blown fuses, etc.).

Last time I remember feeling that helpless and dreadful was scuba diving 100ft at the bottom of a lake.

Anyways, thought I'd share that. I kind of hope that there will be some similar feelings like that with ED - and maybe see some rescue missions of similar situations & maintenance crews up-keeping stations and whatnot.
