Hi Guys,

So, I've been playing Elite Dangerous for around 3 weeks now. I've probably played just about every day. Sometimes just for short gaming sessions of 15 to 30 minutes and sometimes for hours on end. I just wanted to say that I've had more enjoyment/value for money from the Beta/Gamma Elite Dangerous than ANY other top AAA released game in the last...don't know...since the original elite ;) 3 weeks of playing and I'm still coming back to it and it's still in the Gamma phase! Now THAT is a sign of a quality game! RESPECT Frontier! :)

I have to agree 100% with this thread! I have already played this game for more than 100 hours, and it hasn't been released yet! It was my first ever early access, and I am glad I took the plunge.

Yeah, I'd say I've gotten my moneys worth out of it the past month. I've played more hours than I spent euros on it so I can't really deny I've gotten what I paid for. I'll keep playing more of course, but it's already paid for itself in entertainment value.

I agree- I was just looking at my Raptr stats and even though it's tracking the game launcher rather than the game itself it shows 7days 18hrs 03mins. If I allow even a whole 24 hours where the launcher was up and I wasn't playing (which is a generous margin for error) I was pleasantly surprised at the time I have spent playing. Within gamma I have played slightly less and this is more due to lack of time available rather than any other reason.

What makes ED enjoyable for me is the openness, the ease at which you can dip in and out of the game for short periods and the quality of the game itself. Even though the last couple of updates have caused me to have problems playing my overall experience has been great. A big thumbs up to the devs, the producers, the support teams and the teams of people behind them for making this game come to life! It's been a fantastic experience so far and I look forward to the future.

I couldn't agree more, i'm a alpha backer and stayed away from the gamma till now. Its come on so much and feels great to play.
