I'm just wandering how many people have a love of the little things in life... by which I mean the sub-Vulture combat vessals. Eagles and Vipers primarily. Some may know I've been doing a lot of Eagle flying recently, even in PvP, and I've found you can do a lot more good for other players when the rebuy of your ship is trivial.

So who else loves Eagles, Vipers and Couriers? Post below or send me a message. I'm considering starting a group... well for the valiant among you anyway.

The Viper IV is probably my favorite ship in the game. Before it, I had a very long love affair with the Viper III as well.

I currently also have an Eagle and Imperial Eagle for high-speed combat fun, and although I really like them both (prefer the original), I don't find myself in them too much.

Always have my Viper III in station ready to go.. cobra set up for boom and zoom...

I'm down to fly with like minded pilots.

I've been spending the last 4 days getting my iCourier up to grade 5 everything.

I got the drives, which is the most fun part! I'm still missing some elements.....but even halfway finished she is a beaut in combat! What fun!

Never flown a Viper, and only used an Eagle as a taxi.
But I did love flying my iCourier in combat. Might just get around to getting one again just for fun. :)

I like to fly my courier occasionally. I have it modified with DD5 and capable of speeds in excess of 600 m/s. Just dont ask me to take it into combat.... it tends to get wrecked by larger ships in PvP.

I love my VIV dive bomber. Great for big game hunting, npc or player. Definitely my favorite ship. The thing is a pig un-modified, but gets fairly nimble with g5 dirty drives. Still think it could use a pitch buff, though...

Even with G3 dirty drives it's pretty nice, for those who'd rather not blow up alien probes. I've got two small burst lasers and two medium cannons on mine, and I fear no ship - anything I can't destroy I can run away from. She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts :)

Not look like much? I strongly disagree! The viper iv is one of my favorite looking ships! So wide and mean looking... I can't wait for fdev to add a ship kit and some paint jobs. That one squadron paint pack that's available just isn't terribly appealing.

Protip (Viper IV build): use two double-shot medium Frags w/ thermic ammo special effect, and two C1 railguns with heat efficiency secondary effects and plasma slug, plus one G5 modded shield booster. Proceed to take down 800MJ of shields every time you fire.

I use two C1 beams (un-modded ATM) and two C2 multis with thermal (anti-shields) special effects. Oh, and G5 dirty drives because I feel like going 500 m/s with Mil-spec alloys.

My fav is the courier, (oddly enough I'm a federation sort of guy) but I flew my viper MK 3 for hundres of hours, since early beta TBH. I'm also a fan of the imp eagle. I do also have a beefed out FDL for those moments when you need to really hit hard and kill fast.
