Newcomer / Intro Half a million credits available - act now. (CG now over)

Ermh....sry but every second mission on my starport pays better :/

Meh

Sry not worth the flight. Over and out.

My point in posting the thread was to highlight to newcomers an easy way to bolster their credits balance. I was not spamming for participants (there were more than enough of those already) so making a rather off-colour, dismissive post (after the CG had finished even) is a bit......

EDIT: P.S. I see a second post now, didn't notice that before. Getting to the system is not far for everyone, people make up their own mind if the travel to a CG is worth the bother (Jacques for example!).

Did a bit of math on my last three rares runs as a check on my current skill level, and to get a look at how these routes are actually performing.

Run #1 - Momus Reach -> Witchhaul -> Tarach Tor -> Tanmark -> Diso: 574,773 CR in 1:40, for a 344,175 CR/h rate. This is where I discovered that Tarach Spice is illegal in the stations around Lave. I ended up ditching it near the star - fortunately I only had 2T of it.

Run #2 - Diso -> Leesti -> Lave -> Orrere -> 39 Tauri: 707,163 CR in 1:23, yielding a rate of 511,214 CR/h. Azure Milk is great stuff to buy; dirt cheap and sold for over 21K/T at 39 Tauri.

Run #3 - 39 Tauri -> Fujin -> Witchhaul -> Leesti: 506,849 CR in 0:55, for 552,725 CR/h. I'm starting to see why the Lave - Witchhaul loop is so popular.

One interdiction tonight, at Tarach Tor (another reason to avoid it for now). Did the submit - boost - line him up in my six - drop mines routine, and he went down. The bounty voucher I cashed in at the station more than covered the cost of the mines.

The 4A FSD makes this so much easier, too. My long legs that were taking 20 - 25 jumps to complete with my 4C on fastest route are getting done in 10 - 12 jumps now. One night's work and it more than paid for itself.

When you manage to get into an Asp Explorer you will be able to really milk the rares runs - jump range and capacity makes it just about ideal for that. I love my Asp and use it for all sorts of stuff even though my workhorse is a 'conda and a cutter is in the hangar for trade CGs now and then.

Enjoy the progression (don't fret too much about Cr per hr, you can get drawn into a "grind" if you start that)
