Half Width Walls (2 meter)

Numerous times when I'm was building, I came across an annoyance when I was creating small buildings or needed buildings in a specific dimension.
I needed a 2 meter (half a regular 4x4 square) wall. With the smaller grid added, it makes sense that there also are half width walls.
Most of the time you can just overlap two 4 meter walls to create a 6 meter long wall and be done with it, but when you want to have a 2 meter wall, you have to find other solutions.

Of course, Planet Coaster is supposed to be a challenging game. But many of my creations would have benefited from having half walls.
Other parts of a building are good to have as well in a 2 meter size, but the walls are the most useful.

usually i workaround this way:



but if your gap between floor and lintel needs to be higher, you're forced to use flat scenery parts, which crashes the entire look if you're working with wood - or you need to build entirely custom walls.

so i agree, 2m walls would be great. and rather than having different measures of same wall types inside the building selection, it would be rational to add a measure property to such items. and if such a decision is already an option - please do it with a slider tool with smaller steps of 1m up to 4m (metric system) :)

Have asked for this very thing several times since the game was in Alpha. So far all requests seem to have fallen on deaf (dev) ears!

That's usually the way I do it to. But more often than not, that solution isn't possible in the situation I'm in. So I often have to redesign a chunk of my build to solve it.
After getting frustrated the first 10 times this happened, I learned to mostly plan for that problem in advance. But it still is annoying to take into account all the time.
 
I have longed for 2m wall widths since the games release! Sometimes I can work around it with the coaster surround pieces, but not always. It seems such a simple thing that if we have 2m (and now 1m) grid widths, that there should be corresponding wall widths too. 4m only is very restrictive to work with sometimes - and not all of us can afford the framerate sacrifice using double the amount of other walls/columns/ad-hoc pieces just to replicate what one small wall piece could achieve. Makes me very sad [cry]
