How about a paint scheme for the T-9 that makes it look like a big, spongy slice of layer cake?

Sounds fantastic. I love garish colour schemes. Yeah black looks cool, but not when space is black. It's like wearing black rubber at a fetish night ... apparently.
Well it would help you blend in... or so I'm told.
Nice to see the paintjobs back, and I like them - the Eagle esp. looks stunning!
I just wish there was a bit more variety within the pack. E.g. the only one that vaguely contrasts is the Red with the darker background.
Could we pretty please have some more packs (for all ships) like the Cobra Nest pack - with a variety of colours and designs?

I desperately want basic animal vectors, similar to what you would find on a medieval knight's shield, available as emblems, to buy from the store.

Indeed it would, and oh so simple.
FD are really lazy when it comes to emblems. There's so much profit to be made, yet they don't capitalise on it at all.
Ok so got the paint pack for my Asp.
I actually wasn't expecting the super battered ship look but I actually quite like it. Makes the ship feel lived in and as though it's gone through some stories.
I do agree with decals though. FD need to provide more.

Once again, you've reminded me how much better an in game customization system would be than this "pay for paint" system. Different schemes could be offered according to alliance, player group, or as mission rewards, or special custom jobs at certain stations. Whatever, boring default colors for me then.
