Hand made Mostly Harmless pin

The IP here is clearly Frontier owned. I think it's a _very_ cool badge, but she shouldn't be selling them. I hope there won't be trouble.

I am still happy I made a post to show the nice hand crafted pin she made but it was wrong of me to use the word "order" so I changed this now in my original post.

I asked if she could make more and she replied that she could do it for the cost of metal and postage.

Marry her

Dont worry anyone asks tell them you're going to marry her. Your mate will understand. Then you wont have money transactions.
Tell her to contact ED shop to work up some ideas...win win for all
Nice badge. If ED did more badges in their shops this may not have happened?
I wondered where my old school bag got to:D

God listen to these "Copyright Attorneys?" pshhh, he never said he 'bought it' and its frikin cool as hell!...FD might wanna give er a job :D
Very nice pics btw :)

1) People shouldn't be selling Elite Merchandise, I'm pretty sure it's illegal, but it's definitely not cool

Oh get a grip man! We are talking about a couple of handmade badges here. Not a mass produced item that is making profit. Hardly the "crime of the century".

:) I'm right with you there Axis - but I listen to attorneys all day. You would not believe the lengths that legal departments will go to over some things. Even having intellectual property (however convoluted) as a metatag or displayed search result on a web page can get you into some legal squabbles here. Serious ones.

The pin looks great :)

and 2) FD needs to work on the Merchandise it has on offer. The Mug seems rather underwhelming, and I'm not a fan of the T-shirts. I actually had my own collared t-shirt (a golf shirt?) made with Frontier Logo on the sleeve, and Elite logo on the breast.

The pins like you have, some nice subtle collared t-shirts, and perhaps a key-ring that says (my other car is a cobra Mk.III) would sell like hotcakes.

I think that's a bit hypocritical. If your polo shirt mentions either "Frontier" or "Elite" alongside any recognisable imagery you'd probably be in more trouble yourself. Fans shouldn't be punished for paying homage.
