I have been away from Elite for a couple of years. I am struggling with how to hand in package delivery missions. I can see the package is loaded on my ship, but when I arrive at the destiation there does not seem to be any option in the mission tab to complete the mission. Am I missing something, and has something changed?

Newcomer / Intro Handing in package delivery missions

Depending on how long you've been away the interface has changed. You say package but I'll assume cargo. There's a mission depot where you select the cargo and deliver it, just make sure to hit the button between the arrows to actually complete the transaction.
If it is a item in the cargo, you might deliver the cargo from your cockpit, on the landing pad. Go to starport services -> missions. Then there may be a "mission depot" section in there about transferring the cargo out of your hold to them.
If it is an on foot item the mission will tell you an NPC whom to find and interact with to hand it to them, at the destination.
..In either case then you usually also go back to where the mission was picked up, after the delivery, to turn in the completed mission..
Do post the picture of the mission expanded in your mission tab, or state those details, if still unsure where to stick it. Good luck CMDR

Thanks. It was not knowing I had to get off the ship to find the person that threw me.
