General / Off-Topic Happy Independence Day

It's time to get out the grills and hot dogs. The temperature is about 10 deg f cooler today than the past few weeks, so it's nice out.

Happy birthday, America!

When I was in jolly old England, the locals would come and celebrate with us. Fireworks, hambugers, hot dogs and some sort of mystery meat that the vendors put into pita bread.

Fly your flags if you have them. Be careful with the fireworks. There's a $2000.00 fine for even possessing them here, but I'm hearing them go off, anyway. Kids will be kids.

Ahh yes.. I introduced Jenner to that particular delicacy when he was over here.

Never seen someone go green as quick..(Although the 7-8 odd pints, sambucas & yagerbombs might have contributed.)

Happy Trai...ungratef......Danmn Coloni.....Independence day over there. :D

He evidently didn't use enough sauce. Sauce covers a multitude of sins.

I'm surprised that any American would go green over mystery meat... most of us were raised on one or more forms of it :D

It is beautiful in Socal America today. Mowed the lawn, put out my flag, having family over to play cards against humanity, and following it up with steaks on the grill. 80 degrees (F of course), light breeze blue skies.

We live in an amazing place at an amazing time. Ty for well wishing.

Rain here in Houston. Still a beautiful day though :)

I think our British kin should join in on the Fourth of July celebrations.

Rebrand it as the commemoration of that time you rid yourself of those pesky colonies and have a grand old bash.

We could call it "and why pray tell do you lot think you're doing with that Tea?" day.
