hard to control ship using ps3 usb controller

hey guys im having a hard time controlling my ship using a usb ps3 controller. Any of you guys using the same setup as mine? Its hard to control the ship because even when i move the right analog stick to the left/right to yaw slightly, the ship then yaws full speed. do you know how to adjust the sensitivity so that i can control my ship better?

I tried using kb/m and then a xbox controller but at the end I gave up and went for a HOTAS

Anyway, you can play with settings, pay attention to things like DEADZONE and check if you have mapped (automatically) something like lateral thrust to that stick. Actually, revise ALL the control options

Check your control bindings, with yaw etc it is possible to set them as analogue or digital - you may have set them to basically On/Off instead of analogue.

For me, the PS3 controller works great - particularly with tilting mapped to looking around in the cockpit. The Xbox gamepad can't do that. Here is the post with instructions I made some time ago:

The bindings file I provide there might need to be updated a bit - mainly for the back button that was implemented later. Adjust to suit your needs.
