Hardly anyone ever uses First Aid... why build it then?

I construct a first aid in my parks every now and then. However when I do, I hardly ever see anyone go in them. I guess that's a good thing but then why build them at all?

It depends on where you place them how many peeps use them. If you place them next to a high nauseating ride peeps will use them more than when it is next to the carousel for example.

Amusement parks are required by law to have a First Aid centre. Health and Safety. Planet Coaster is a simulation game. That is why they're in the game. What sort of park would be allowed to operate without some sort of first aid facility. Rides could malfunction, someone may get sick of being on a really intensive ride. I was at Rainbows End in Auckland and riders required first aid or medical/health attention and park cleaners to clean up when two people threw up on two different rides. Also eating before going on intensive rides. Cutting themselves accidentally. etc.

There is not such a mechanic in the game, so I don´t really see real reason why to build them. I don´t have single one and it didn´t hurt me, at all.

If you watch a guest who just gets off a super nauseating ride, they'll feel sick. However they get better so fast there is no chance of nausea building over multiple rides (or even lasting a short walk to the first aid). Therefore as you say, there is no real reason to build them. Though they will get used if you place them immediately after the exit.

This is in sandbox, at least.

Yes, this. [up] I have observed guests using the first aid booths when placed like that. They don't need to be placed right on the exit path, but across from it or near it is best. First aid lets you get away with putting food and drink stalls anywhere you want, including adjacent to nauseating rides.
