Hardpoints randomly deploying?

In the last couple of weeks or so I've noticed my hardpoints have been randomly deploying (no pun intended). In the live game, not Beta.

At first I couldn't find a pattern but now it seems that it occurs when I operate another piece of equipment or function such as cargo scoop, landing gear, contacts panel etc. Not all the time but just sometimes.

Obviously inconvenient to find your hardpoints out when inside a station!

I've checked the bindings and there are no conflicts.

Anyone else seen this or similar?

I'd take a close look at all your peripherals.... It seems you may have a piece of equipment conflicting or competing with your primary input controller(s). Something could be malfunctioning. If you've got a lot of stuff plugged in, use the deduction method (unplug everything but one, play and then plug in one at a time, until the problem occurs again) to determine where the issue lies.

I'd bet on it.

What controller do you use? I've seen this stuff happen with joysticks, espescially when they arent properly being powered by USB and/or dying.

Sounds like a typical X52 wearing out. It isn't an X52 joystick is it? Anyway, this is what they do, they 'get their wires crossed', quite literally, they rub against each other and the internal plastic. Even if it's not an X52, I too am inclined to blame the peripheral for this kind of stuff, on the proviso that nothing else has changed recently.

no idea, 2 keys asigned in bindings would been my guess

but you checked

Peripheral emulation would be another possibility.

Some peripherals have drivers/software that can emulate other types of controllers.

(Steam controller can do mouse emulation, etc. 3DConnexxion Space Mouse, Logitech G-13, etc.)

T16000m + FWCS + Belkin N52 Speedpad - all functioning well together for months before these issues.

Recent update for Oculus Rift software???

Primary fire on the T16000m has been a bit gltichy (double clicking) for a little while

Can you go to control panel->devices and printers->T16000m right click->game controller settings->properties. Now just sit there for a few minutes while pushing buttons that trigger the wrong thing. Do you see multiple controls being triggered by any chance?

Good idea... I had a fiddle about nothing jumps out ???

Very puzzled.

-------------

Only thing that came up was that U-Axis flat slider on the stick only seems to report a position AFTER any button on the stick is pressed.

AND

The rotary slider I am using on the FWCS Throttle is also called Joy U-Axis.

The naming appears to be coincidental as this does not cause a conflict on ED bindings and nor does one function operate the other in the calibration GUI's.

In any respect I disabled the slider I had set for sensor zoom to see what happens (or hopefully doesn't!).
