I think we all might say that the infamous harrry potter is a grifer or (in game) terrorist right. He is part of the Smiling Dog Crew, yes the grifer group. He must have the highest bounty in the galaxy.

Then why is it he is almost being hailed by Galnet for killing Salome how does that work? She only stole secret information, i mean it's not like she's unlawfully killed hundreds of pilots. Why should the galactic community look so fondly at him for killing her? He is a terrorist himself he is part of a well known terror group the Smiling Dog Crew. How can Galnet (or frontier) even get close to calling him a bounty hunter, if anything he should be the hunted.

Why should he deserve the title of bounty hunter?

Will they overlook the price on his own head now?

Because there was official bounty of 5 million cr on Salome placed by empire and one player (sorry can''t remember his/her name) placed 1 billion cr bounty on Salome (i.e he promised to pay 1 billion cr to player who is officially reported as the killer of Salome). Bounty hunter is someone who hunt for reward someone offers for killing/delivering someone. Salome had very large bounty on his head.

It still raises terror I mean how many trading routes are their that trade around SDC space? They don't have a political standing i don't think but nether does CODE. The ideal of the groups I think is to strike fear into other players. I myself would think that as terrorism...But griffers none the less.

Simple answer.
Salome had a 5 mil bounty on her head from major factions.
Salome killed = bounty claim.

I've said it before, but if only he had chosen almost any other name. That the most talked about player character in this futuristic space sim is called 'Harry Potter' is beyond absurd. Oh well, I guess he couldn't have predicted his notoriety when he made the account.

The Code are pirates, they do it for (a shipload of) money.

SDC has no in game role. Their mission statement is: ruining other player's games.

As you no doubt know, Besieger is Harry's forum ID. He did try for the Cmdr ID of 'Voldemort'...according to an SDC source who posted it here, sadly the name was already allocated.

Ed Lewis said in one of the live streams that Sucidwinder is not an exploit.

Well pretty much half of the players use the sidewinder stuff, at this point it isn't exploit anymore. Frontier could easily tie bounty to ship instead of player or make bounties stay active until the time expires even if you die if they wanted to do that.
