Has anybody seen a "Weapons Fire" or "Distress Signal" USS yet?

Just wondering....

Seems like every system is filled with Encoded Emmisions and Degraded Emmisions USS's but "combat" USS's are conspicuous by their absence.

Is this 'cos the BGS has been reset or something else?

Traditionally, I like to do some kind of "good deed" before I dock at a station so I always stop off at a "combat" USS to explode some criminals but I notice that I haven't stumbled across any since the update.

I've seen exactly one distress signal. And far too many Encoded / Degraded.

No just encoded/degraded & one HGE too - just before the servers gave up. I'd been lugging the fuel txfr gear around as well...

I find the statement "... distress signals, but no other combat USS" perturbing. I mean, you're totally right, but it's a shame that distress signals are almost always traps and combat, rather than just a ship in distress.

We are all still at bland levels of security and economy. Give it a few days, but systems are moving reasonably quickly where there is traffic

Saw a number of distress signals in a single system last night. No weapons fire but I've only had a chance to fully scan one system, took me so long to bind all the keys and figure out what I was looking for/at......

Presumably any USS tied to any system state other than None is going to be absent, then in short supply, until the BGS evolves back to its normal range of states.

Are we saying ships only get into distress during specific political/economic climates?

Pretty sure it will sort itself out eventually (assuming there isn't something wrong) but it seems odd that these things are tied to the BGS.

I have seen hi grade, encoded,degraded, disstress, and convoy dispersal. Thats it. As others have said i am hoping the rest will come as the BGS gets perturbed.

I've seen two or three distress calls, but when jumping to them they involved 5 or 6 pirates ambling along, paying no attention to me at all.

No distress anywhere.

So I shot the biggest bounty and legged it. They were distressed then.

try anarchy systems found quite a few in kini
