I think it takes some real shady actions to get banned from the game. I'm not sure anyone would be willing to come forward and name and shame themselves like that.

FDEV are too nice for naming an shaming, however if you search the interweb for people moaning about being banned by FDEV you'll find temp, perma's and multi account bans to the shadow server plus flat game bans even on early backer packages have all happened.

By the way, the rules also state that trying to bypass them is frowned upon. This isn't doing it in the right way at all, as there isn't a right way.
