Has anyone been to eodgorks?

I think it's called that (not in front of my comp atm) it's a sector about 12k ly from the bubble on a trajectory towards Sag A*.

It was supposed to be my destination during my current exploration voyage but I got sidetracked by other things and am now beyond Sag A*.

The reason I ask is because back between gamma and 1.1 certain system(outside the bubble) could be pinpointed by searching a random word. "Devil" brought you to a wolf rayet in eodgorks (not entirely sure on the spelling). With 1.2 searching for devil would ctd the game. With 1.3 the map cannot find it.

Anyone familiar with that sector and been there?

I have to write it down on a sticky note so remember to go throough there on my way back.

do you mean "eodgosly"? there i have been. there is a beautifull small nebula close to it, the clookau nebula.

Searched for it "eodgorks" without any success tonight. It's clearly the spelling, but the fact that the word "devil" used to bring you 12k Ly away intrigued me.

One of the nebula markers on my neutron field analysis is:
EESHORKS AA-A H15
Sounds similar, just wondered if it helps. I'm actually en-route there as we speak.

I was in EESHORKS a couple of days ago.

I just dug up some notes I took from my first exploration run in a cobra back in '14.

This is the name: EODGORKS AA-A H0. Unfortunately I didn't take down the coordinates, only do that for planetary nebulae

Looks like it no longer exists or more likely the name was changed.

Currently there's a bug in the search function of the gal map that make it impossible to find systems that end with 0. It has been like that since 1.3, but beta people in 1.4 reported it has finally been fixed. So when 1.4 will deploy search again and you should find that nebula/system.

Oh, did I misunderstand that with the 0, I thought it was only systems with "-0"?

In 1.3 I have no problem to search and find EODGORKS AA-A H0

-0 systems can usually be found, albeit tediously, by repeatedly clicking the search arrow which then cycles through the -1, -2, etc systems. I've not tested this in the last beta build but in the first one, this particular bug had NOT been fixed.

I've read posts of 1.4 beta testers that claim they can find XXX SECTOR XXX systems and also -0 systems. Since the search box used work prior 1.3 I hope they are right, but not tested myself
