Has anyone done anything about the Radeon graphics cards issue?

Dear Frontier, I can't play EDO for a while. It crashes in about 5 min. certainly, Everytime.

Can you please do something about it?

Ihave the Radeon the RX 550 and sometimes the game will revert back to steams homepage and have to click the icon to get back in the game. My card is the weakest link in my Ryzen 7 cpu.

It would have been helpful to know which graphics drivers you were using.

23.7.1 drivers caused this repeatable crash to desktop in EDO with my 5700XT, so I went back to the previous 23.5.2 drivers which worked fine with EDO. I'm using Instant Replay which was a known issue with this set of drivers, so wonder if this might be the cause of the CTD.

23.7.2 drivers were released a couple of days ago which have fixed the issue with Instant Reply (supposedly) but I've not tried them yet.

I don't have any issue playing with a 7900 XTX, with the newest driver seemingly even making VR in EDO possible (no 'folded' atmospheric landable bodies, but larger sample required) where previously it was flawed.

Perhaps it would make sense asking AMD to 'fix' the issue, rather than Frontier?

Radeon RX 5700 XT
I had one of those things.
It didn't just crash when playing elite, though it did so a lot.
It crashed in a different way depending on which driver version I used. None of them were stable, but some of them would force a hard-restart of the PC while others would make it freeze and others would, for some reason, turn my second monitor green. Others would leave everything running and responding to input (apparently, judging by audio cues) but the screen would be frozen.

I swapped it out for a 2060 super and all my problems went away.

Unlucky, I was using the RX 5700XT Pulse for ages until I got a RX 7900 XTX and had no issues.

Without more information it will be impossible to isolate the cause of your problem, and Frontier support is best contacted through a support ticket,

The issue may well not be caused by AMD or Frontier.

There were legitimate and serious driver problems with the initial RDNA/Navi (RX 5000 series) release that took almost a year to convincingly resolve, but the issues described, if they were encountered after the 20.7.1 driver release are probably indicative of a defective hardware sample, not drivers.
