Has anyone ever seen an Coriolis Station like this before?

Yeah, I've seen those before. On the way out of the station I think I got a bit too close to one of those hammers and I had proximity warnings galore. One of those moments where you think "do I want to know how close that was? ........no!"

Yes, watch them In the first week I got taken out by one in a Sidewinder !!!
I think they speed up as you get near them...

There is a station just like thats called either "land mine" or "land mines", which i thought was rather appropriate!

Raising my hand to say "Yep, they got me too once after a bad drop" The hammers right at the end caught my Cobra dead center before I'd even regained control authority after hitting normal space. Instakaboom.
