Has anyone fond a fix for the freezing yet?

I just got this game today and I can not play it. Every 5 or 10 min the game freezes. It does not freeze my whole pc I can alt tab out and in task man it does not even say it is "not responding" but still, there it is frozen like an ice block.
I have looked on the web for a fix but come up craps. If anyone knows how to fix this I would love to hear it.
