Has anyone found the black hole in Glesting or any closer one to Sol?

Hello everyone,

Ive playing this game for around 1 month now and ive chosen the path of the Explorer but i havent yet to find any neutron stars or black holes. Some buddy of mine told me that he found a black hole in gamma in the system Glesting that its closer to the B star but ive explored the entire system for over 1 hour and havent found anything :(. Was this black hole removed from the game does anyone know ? Ty .

The closest Black Holes I have visited are Maia B in the Pleiades cluster and 13 Andromedae B not far away from civilisation.

For a neutron star closest to Sol is probably Jackson's Lighthouse - I was there a few days ago. Massive gravity field, small star. Not overly interesting...

There's a black hole less than 100ly from Jackson's Lighthouse at HIP 34707. Nice bit of gravitational lensing when you get close to it.

Both of these are still within populated space.

Back in First Encounters I always triied to get into Beta Lyrae, I wanted to see an accretion disc. The game always crashed upon entering the system. :) Do those exist in the game?

Check out BD+28 4211 (~300 Ly from Sol) and HIP 37610 systems (~500 Ly from Canopus - edge of populated space in that direction).

Black Holes are really worth the trip!! Neutron Stars/Pulsars on the other hand...
