Engineers Has anyone spotted Biotech Conductors since the latest update?

Material mission rewards are notorious in Elite for being bugged (not spawning) after updates, so I thought I'd ask whether anyone has seen any biotech conductors since 2.3.10. They're "very rare," so they ought to have the same spawn rate as exquisite focus crystals. Is there a specific system type that they can be found in, or found more frequently in? I'm modding some PAs for long range, and I really need them to be at grade 5 for maximum projectile velocity if they're going to be viable weapons.

...As an aside, I hate mission reward mats. They're 500x more painful to farm than anything else. :(

I haven't seen any biotechs since the last patch. I've been looking for them too.

As far as I know there shouldn't be anything that causes them to spawn more often in certain systems. I read a post by FD not long ago stating that materials from mission rewards are unaffected by type of system or current state.

I think once again they've screwed up the rewards.

EFC, CIF and BTC seem to be gone again.

For once I wish they could release a patch without screwing up mission rewards.

Just once ....

It seems that they're all gone from missions.
Actually, there's barely any material or data being rewarded...

Let's open a ticket.

You know, I'm not even angry at Frontier. Bugged mission rewards are to be expected, at this point. They're, like, a fundamental part of Elite: Dangerous. In fact, if mission rewards were working as intended, the universe as we know it would probably cease to exist, because fixing mission rewards would be an egregious violation of all currently known laws of physics.

It's like being angry at a thunderstorm. What's the point in getting angry at the weather? I'm angry at myself for not farming up BTC and EFC while they were spawning properly. So, it's not Frontier's fault. It's mine.

At this point, an update that didn't screw up at least a half-dozen things that were fixed long ago would indeed be a disappointment.

For whatever good it'll do, I posted a bug report. God only knows when, or if, a hotfix is going to release, though. Here's to hoping we won't have to wait eons until the next major patch.
