Has anyone tried formation flying?

It's just a thought that occurred to me while watching the Red Arrows at the Silverstone Grand Prix.

Some of the manoeuvres are ridiculously precise and I bet it would be great to try something similar in E: D. Especially with someone like Neon Raven to video and shiny up the results. :smilie:

Mind you, I'd need a hell of a lot more practice first...and a decent joystick (ordered an X52 Pro but who knows when that'll turn up?)

Yes please check my sig and follow the link to page 4 post 40 you will see some cool screen shots , all those ships are flown by Cmdrs 7 sidewinders and one Cobra . We still run events but now normally only through teamspeak and not on the forum at the moment .

Sorry there was a large video as well showing formation combat wing men support and engaging ncp ships even when out gunned though the link may be dead now .
