Has Elite rank been changed since Tripple Elite competidion, made harder to reach ?
I have played a lot I think 4 - 8 hours almost every day and I have the rank of master in combat
broker in trading and pathfinder in exploration, and I didnt even reset to take part in the
Nvidia Titan Black competidion.
I cant help but to wonder how much the cmdr who reached tripple Elite had to play every day
to win.
I would like to hear from devs about this, has it been changed or is it the same !

A lot of players who got to elite in combat did so through farming at combat zones next to friendly capital ships.
The latest update stopped this from working, since capital ships are now treated like other players, you need to get the last hit to get the kill, not just one hit if the cap ship is involved.

Turrets at combat zone are also popular seemingly, not tried them myself though.

I jumped at 383 Mill to Tycoon. I think there might be some system lag as to when the system catches up as I've seen other posts that agree with 383, but there may just be a delay in updating your screen.

I've also seen published that 1Bil 15 Mil is the level for Elite Trader - only 396 Mil to go...

Maybe tonight in my spare time.

anyone know what the Exploration Elite figure is at, I cant see the just carte blance doubling the figures just because they upped the exploration data amount, I was already over 30 million in data before that happened with elite reported as 100 million, if they just doubled it id need 170 il to elite from there but at most if doubled after what I previously had should be 140 million, so it don't add up, I am currently on 102.5 million with 6287 systems visited and I have no idea now how far I have to go to reach elite, do I do a short trip and get a few more mill or a long trip and get 98 mill to make it a round 200., not sure im ready for another long haul trip atm tho

if you didn't farm them in CZ's it goes up slower, as for long periods of time there haven't been high rank NPC's in RES whereas CZ's consistently have high rank NPCs with very few harmless/novices etc.

I mean currently for example you can't get wanted above master in a RES, but you can still get every rank in CZ's, this makes it much much slower as you not only lose access to the highest ranks, but you also get the lowest ranks providing very little for a kill.

That was gained through a competition and i expect a team was working around the clock on one account to get there.
