Has Hudson's discount ended?

I just tripped over to Bhritzameno to look at an upgrade or two and I see that prices there are the same as everywhere else.

I was there refitting my Python yesterday and the 20% discount was in effect.

Has the offer ended or is it because of the ship (can't remember if the Asp is sold there - E D not loaded at the mo)?

It's there in some form because I'm sitting in the station right now and it is narking me off something chronic.

I want to replace some of my A class gear with the cheaper stuff. So I flog, say, my A6 thrusters, which I can see Feynman station has for sale at a sizeable discount. I do this by buying a lower class module. I then go to buy the new, cheaper A6 thrusters - but they are now only available as a buyback for the price at which I sold them.

Can't see a safe workaround for this. I can see the prices changing right before my eyes. I'm sick of feeling like I'm debugging this game rather than playing it!

Wait 6 minutes in offline, log back in and it'll be removed from the re-buy. Or sell it for a B/C/D rated whatever at a different station before visiting.

It's 100% return on module sale so I'd advise the different station. Going for an A rated ship, get a B or below rated next door.

That's a good idea, thanks. Makes me a bit nervous that something will go wrong, but I'll give it a shot, I can always hike back to Wolf 406 if it doesn't work out.

Knowing my luck some trigger happy Fed will take a pot shot at me on the way out and I'll end up wanted for defending myself!

Bah.... Sold the relevant modules, logged out, came back once the buy back was clear - and they sold the new modules to me at the normal price not the discounted price.

No idea what is going on. I could see the discounted price before. My chain has been well and truly jerked.

Going to go and play some other game. Thanks for trying to help!

Yeah, just landed in LTT 15449 and the annaconda is at the same price as everwhere else.
Well, too bad, I just needed to scrap a couple more millions and I missed the window.

Well first world problem for me then. Sold my Conda yesterday to get the 20% for better insurance. Didn't think to make sure it had them in stock.... Doh.
Need the 20% to cover buy back. Couldn't find one in Hudson space this evening so asked a q. on the forum to where they're at and then used the time to trade in my fdl in the mean time.

No Conda for me until it's back to 20%
So jeffvimes, the ltt system had the Conda? Will keep my eye on it if that's the case thanks.

Don't the ranks tick weekly with power play or are the ranks "live"...... …?

Okey Dokey ....

I am back at Bhritzameno (Feynman) and sure enough the 20% discount is still in force. For some reason it wasn't showing up for me earlier, the A6 thruster was the same price as in E D Shipyard, now it is discounted. I just sold my A6 shield gen for 16+Mcr then bought a new one later for 12Mcr.

In Altair system, Solo Orbiter station, the Anaconda is listed at 132,272,506 cr - that's as of 01:25 UTC 24th June. I don't know if that's 20% or 15% (too late for my maths) as Altair is "Exploited" not "Controlled" - if that makes sense to anyone.

Thats 15% and correct for an exploited.
People have reported on the active discounts thread that changing ships, logging in and out and various other things can activate/deactivate the discount. Sometimes 1 CMDR will be there chatting to another and only 1 will see the discount.

To be honest I always expected that one to disappear after a while since there's nothing in the flavour text about it. It only says weapons 10% in controlled system not everything at 20%...

@MrReynolds, we don't know since the last tickover was so borked the Devs manually edited things after.

I was in Bhritzameno 12 hours ago and had 20% discounts on ships and modules. Bhritzameno didn't have A5 FSD, but I got A6 thrusters and shields, and B7 power plant for 20% off. I did the math in a spreadsheet so check the prices were indeed 20% off.

yesterday when I went to Bhritzameno when I first got there and checked the shipyard, the ships were regular price, no discount. So I checked to outfitting and all the modules were discounted. after I swapped out all my models I rechecked the shipyard to buy a ship to fly to get my python and bring it back to get all its modules swapped out and get some new ones for it,,, and low and behold now the ships were all showing discounted now,,, still buggy as hell I guess.
