Hi all,
Last night I reached the furthest end of a 'triangular' trip out to discover new systems. I've been plotting the route in sub 1000ly sections in order to reach my chosen end point. I now am going to head back to Ray Gateway to cash in my hard work. Just out of curiosity I tried to plot a direct route back in one go, the route is over 4500ly and to my surprise it did it. Gave me 115 jumps to do it which is expected of course but I couldn't understand why it had calculated the route for me. I thought that 1000ly was the maximum for route plotting?
Obviously I'm misunderstanding something here but could have saved myself some time using the Galmap on the way out if I could have just done the whole route in one go.
Thanks very much.
