Has something gone wrong with ship integrity? It should be lower than repairs from damage.

Since 1.2 my ship integrity seems to be going down quicker and costing more. Is this intended? Seems the opposite of what the change notes said and contrary to the other reduced repair costs.

I was a little hasty leaving a station in my T7, losing half my hull in a collision and it cost about 8k. Ship integrity now seems to go up in cost by about 1k just flying a couple of jumps with only a breif time in SC.

Personally I think damage repair costs are now a bit too cheap and integrity is too high. I can do nothing really to prevent integrity costs, but repair costs are down to my own skill or mistakes.

For all I know, Combat will put the most Tear&Wear onto your Ship now.
Basically understandable - but the Tear&Wear costs haven't dropped in line with Repair costs.

A blasted hull is now easily fixed - but fixing even mild tear&wear (which IMHO should be less significant than extensive hull repairs any day) still takes a good dip right into your Credits Balance ;)

I don't think combat will add wear and tear. The experiments I saw reported previously by a played showed it was basically SC and emergency SC exit that caused integrity damage.

I think integrity costs should be vastly reduced and hull repair costs should be increased to somewhere between where they are now and where they were before the drop (probably on the lower end of that scale).

I want it to hurt a bit when I crash or my shields get dropped in a fight, but not so much that I don't want to use an expensive ship. I don't want it to cost me so much just playing the game.

Thing is, fuel and repairs are so cheap now that I all of a sudden don't mind the wear and tear. I love that fuel is the same price for all, and that repairs are lowered. But having the same W&T (or even a bit higher if you were trader specced before) makes sense because you are taking care of a much bigger ship. And it works for balance too. As much as I don't like spending money there have to be some mandatory costs to running a ship. And its not even mandatory, ignore it if you want!
