I am trying to play the game but keep getting "unable to get an up to date mission list from the server". the rest of the game is fine, I am buying and selling commodities, it's giving me things to shoot at and such, it's just the missions I can't seem to access.
Has someone tripped over the power cable in the server room?
When they have a Beta in the oven, I typically switch to playing Open versus Solo and I did that probably a week ago, when game response was getting a little wonky, similar to many of the comments in this thread. Although my ASUS Dark Knight cable-router was also in need of a re-boot around that time too.
That aside, I just teleported in to see if there were any comments about the missions being seriously nerfed down, even the passenger missions. I stopped playing Elite-D 2-3 days ago because of that, not much point right now. It's like my save game has been wiped and I'm starting over from scratch.
Maybe it's a tail end of the holiday thang, and it might get better in a few days.. meanwhile, back at the ranch I've dusted off my copy of Cities-Skylines, to finally try my hand at that, and I'm thinking of also finishing the tutorial in Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak.. dum dee dum.
