Hardware & Technical Has the Saitek X55 been discontinued?

I was wondering has the Saitek X55 been discontinued I noticed it the only ones on Amazon are insanely over priced being 400 and 200 dollars range each and its completely out of stock on Newegg too?

As for the distribution it seems like they have simply handed it over to Amazon, as for the prices - they simply increased them. Probably this is how they have reorganised the business due to financial issues reported last month.

Huh weird it just seems odd since at least on the US amazon there are only a few instock and the new ones are 478 dollars vs the 200 it used to cost so that would be a really weird price increase from the old cost. Also the ones on sale aren't from Amazon they're form different sellers.

My x55 broke and got sent for repair. They had none in stock so sent and x52 as replacement. They did inform me that they were expecting a new batch around April/May.

I suspect when the new batch arrives, prices will return to normal.

I hope they will stop selling faulty products. The reason I stick to my Hotas X is that I read too many tales of faulty X55s...
