Has your mouse pointer disappeared in most screens of the game?

I want to know if others have recently experienced their mouse pointer disappearing from the game on screen in which, until just recently, you could use the mouse.

I know you haven't been able to use the mouse on every screen for a long time, but just recently I find that I can't use the mouse on almost all the screens.

I'm not sure if this is the game which changed or if it was some driver change on my system.

Let me know if you've experienced anything which sounds similar.

I'd really like to have use of my mouse pointer on screens where I use using it until just recently. I'll write up a bug report if need be, but I'd like to have more information first.

Actually I face exactly the opposite - my mouse pointer appears in places it's not needed. Mostly it remains visible on my cockpit screen when I exit GalMap/system map. It requires just a mouse prod to remove it but it's slightly annoying since I have to remove my hand from a joystick.

But I have the mouse widget looking like an ugly 8-bit, no transparency sprite everytime I activate it, even when the hud is not supposed to have a reticle.

I had this problem too recently. To get rid of it, you need to go into your graphics settings and select "in game panel-based mouse pointer" (I think that is the description) instead of desktop mouse pointer. Once you do that, the mouse pointer will disappear once you leave a portion of the game that utilizes the mouse.

The mouse widget doesn't like you either!

I always have my widget active - it feels weird flying without it now.

Maybe you can manage to improve mouse pointer precision in Mouse Options.

Just go to Settings > Devices > Mouse& Touchpad > Additional mouse options
>Enhance Mouse Precision.
