We have seen since D. Trump took office a wave of hate against him, his supporters and against conservatives in general. I find it funny that we just had 8 years in relative political peach in the US, that ended the day the left declared war on democracy.

A hideous violent crime has been committed against members of the GOP in the US. This is a political crime, it's terrorism from the left and it has to stop or we will reach a point where no one can return. People died!

Actors, the main stream media, and political front figures has been spraying the public forum with hate, and suggestion to act in a violent way, It finally paid off. May I congratulate all of you who have hoped for this to happen, now don't complain if there will be a reaction to this. Sad times indeed.

After yesterday, what happend and even more so how you could see people on both sides react to it really just makes you think America is a poo-hole. Once again a shooting happen (even two yesterday) and you see loads of people going after another doing the blame game. I have just read your post and not the other replies yet. I'd like to say that this is a terrible act of political terror, we all here agree that right wing religious terror (right wing terrorism is the most common form of terror in the USA), Islamic terror, and left wing terror are all equally vile things. Bernie Sanders spoke out clearly against the shooting, he is a man who for over 40 years in politics has advocated for nonviolence, i have also been watching left wing media including TYT and secular talk. Both of them, and everybody who genuinely believes in the progressive cause, has condemmed these shootings.

There's a good lesson to be learned here btw. This wasn't some "ordinary person with left wing beliefs", but a man with a violent criminal background. Bernie Sanders didn't inspire this terrorism, just like a belief in the free market didn't cause Anders Breivik to slaughter the youth wing of the Social Democrat party in Norway, and like being raised Muslim doesn't make normal people decide to start murdering unbelievers.
