Hauler vs Sidewinder? 1-0

Well, not my fault, and... not my fault.

1st not my fault: around a station, was it freeport?, a Commander (not npc so), tried I don't know what for maneuver, but started to flight straight into my Hauler... struggled leaving his way-to-cross, and BARELY avoided à 100% frontal collision. We touched each other a bit... I was ok, when I hear: "target shields are offline". Oups? But wth, not my fault, tried to avoid as I could... :D

Not finished yet...

2nd not my fault... he deployed weapons, I deployed them too (don't laugh, I deployed my Heatsinks, that's all I had on the hauler, as I got it for cargo and run, nothing else).
He opened fire against me, so I ran back in direction of the station, boosting, FA OFF, retracting btw the weapons, well, heatsinks immediately. Once near the station, in the firerestriction zone I GUESS... I turned over and just saw an explosion. He was gone, back to ash :D

Now, what happened, returning into NO FIRE zone backed me up with police against the shooter?

I've never seen an NPC deploy hardpoints after a collison. I've plowed through so many in my Type-9, some just blow up, others take shield damage and run. None ever shoot me.

Are you sure it wasn't a player?

I had one the other day, I came in to dock in a Type-9 and at the slot I had forgotten to deploy my gear.. I pushed boost instead. Went from 80 to 200 in seconds and managed to throttle back, and hit the back wall with my belly at 70 for full shield and 65% hull damage. Still managed to land it and get my cargo out :D
