Have all ship classes been to Sgr A*?

Just a question, is it known if an example of each ship class currently available has made it to the core?

If 'no' what's missing?

I've read somewhere on the forum that someone was setting himself for a trip there on a Lakon Type 9, and from replies he seems to be the first one attempting such a journey.
But to be fair, you can only ask if anyone from the forum has made such trips in such vehicles, and that is probably only 10% of the players, really.
So there is no way to know for sure.

EDIT: If you are trying to be first in said ship, wait for the Imperial Courier to come and head to Sgr A straight away at release.

Try an Eagle, or a Viper. I haven't seen anyone claiming them yet.

Many chose the Eagle for its unobstructed view back when we didn't have the Debug Camera. Whether any made it to the core with it is something else, but I would not be surprised if someone did.

Obviously I have no way of knowing, but I am still eagerly waiting for screenshots of someone flying a fully laden T9 Heavy to Sgr A* and dumping hundreds of canisters just outside the Event Horizon.. :)

Also, I'd be really surprised if anyone has been there with a Vulture or Fer-De-Lance... the type of players who go for those ships probably have little interest in making long journeys with noone around to fight or wing up with. :) .. and if they do go for the trip, they'll buy an Asp to do it with.

Am on my way in a T9, kinda wishing I bought some cargo :)

Both can do over 20ly jumps in a pure explorer config.

Although, despite being slightly crazy, I don't think even I'd fancy taking either there!

Some day I might head there in a Vulture. And in a full attack loadout with armour. Because reasons.

I'm tempted; I just swapped my Python for a Ferdy and I'm trying to get to grips with using it as an explorer. The tiny little fuel tank is unforgiving, and that's the biggest obstacle I can see to taking it to the Core.

Also it runs bloody hot.
