Have Black hole effects changed(/disappeared) or is it my computer?

I searched the forum, but couldn't find anything on this, so pardon my asking:

Have Black Hole effects changed/disappeared?
Or is something wrong with my computer/settings?

I hadn't visited a BH in a while, but after the third BH system with no effects, I am now puzzeled.

This is how remembered them:

I have just looked through the graphics settings menu, but couldn't find anything...


Does anyone have any idea??

Odd. Might just be a display bug; I went to one not too long ago and it looked like your first image.

I thought I read something in the Powerplay beta update logs that the blackhole effects have been put back in. I don't explore so I really don't know, but if it helps explain maybe it was taken out till 1.3 is released?

Some of them display and others don't for some reason. Chugged round a fair few in the last few days and it appears random which do and don't.

So I'll just try a few more and see if I find any with effects as well.

And keep fingers crossed for a fix with 1.3.

Yeah 18000 lys out towards the center I ran into this frequently. They just stopped rendering.
