Got the Cobra MkIII and really loving the flying experience.

I've got better weapons, hull, etc., but what I would really REALLY like is...

A single seater Cobra MKIII

I think it's more the wish to sit in the centre of the ship...something you quickly get used to

Nah, its good, as the designers of the Cobra thought of that and shifted the axis towards the pilots seat, at least internally. I'd like to find out if, when you roll for example, this is also represented on the exterior model, meaning the right side would roll a bit faster than the left side.
