Why not have a mode value (hidden from cmdr) which says what mode it was taken in, so if I take 30 missions in Open I can't drop to Solo when things get hairy as the mission wouldn't be there?
Either that or mode switching removes the missionsfrom the log as it wasn't undertaken in that mode
