have no idea how , but it happen and would like some answer

simple description,

Current assets 103,3 millions

ship python

Buying T9

shipyard says I will be left with 26 millions after exchange.

Bought T9

it left me with 20 millions , current assest 97.3 millions so WHERE is 6 MILLIONS ??

Ignore the trolls.

When you sell a ship you lose 10% of it's value. If you sell or downgrade most of the modules first then you don't lose any value on those.

It's in the game manual.

Tax. Or a small bug which you should report.

Reported, but without hope they going to find my loosed 6 millions , probably instead of my 6 mills. they going to find some drunk pilots or security forces in bar with super cars parked in front. :)

You have reported what is either a minor bug or a misunderstanding of the game mechanics and you either be reimbursed for your loss or you won't.

You can make that 6 million back in 2 hours max in your t9 - not sure what the issue is?

Python is 55 million CR (no upgrades). Without selling it, it's an asset of 55 million. When you sell it, you sell it at a loss of 10% (5.5m CR).

Assets are what you paid for it, not the current market value.

yes but as he wrote it, shipyard clearly state that balance after exchange going to be 26 millions, and he left with 20 millions , so either it is bug which should be fixed as it can trick people to exchange and than be short with money for something they need, or it should be calculated and shown correctly that you will be left with 26 mills minus 10% of ship price. It is not ok to programme game to say something what is not truth , simple as that.

shipyard says I will be left with 26 millions after exchange.
The shipyard doesn't say what you will be left with after the exchange, it says what you have to pay.
If you exchange a stock Hauler (52720) for a stock Eagle (44800) it says

Cost of new ship 44800
part exchange on old ship 47448
-2648

The last number (-2648 in the example) is simply cost of new ship minus refund for old ship and has nothing to do with your credits balance. It will always be -2648, no matter if you have one, ten or a hundred million credits.
