Have Powerplay Power Benefits crippled the Federation?

Considering I spent the last two weeks acquiring a system on my own (took the system from 0 to 120k with no visible help from others), maybe I am one of the many running strategy after all.
Exactly. If you can just go out and Acquire a system or I can go and Undermine one with no reference to other players, there may only be 4 or fewer people trying to dictate some sort of overall strategy for the Power, but there are probably considerably more players who don't even know they exist working for the power than who are paying attention to them.
(Whether that balance also holds for total control points applied, harder to say)

Really old leadership is the new advocate for organised actions- for example the Kumo spanking Patty for 16 systems. In effect its anyone taking a situation and building a gameplay narrative from it. People may be interested and group up or simply ignore it and carry on individually, thats the upside to the new system.

I was responding to a person who was discounting my opinion because I was "not the one running strategy" for a Power.

I was discounting your opinion on how much undermining happens between imperial powers.
Seems like everyone outside of ZYADA think it is always smooth sailing.
Over the period of 2.0 we have had just as much undermining from empire related groups as what we have from the feds.
It's not the instant win button that everyone thinks it is.
