Hi Fdev,

This may have already been suggested... but it would be nice if the station dispatch called you by the first three characters of your ship ID which can be changed easily per ship, rather than by the first three of your commander's name.

This. Even after I've changed the ship ID the stations still use the SYL designation for all of them... regardless of which I fly.

Would be much nicer if it actually called out letter/number designations spelling them out accurately, but that would be extra resources they don't have to make that change right now. (even if it's a QOL thing)

On all ships, they range from EBBY-1 to EBBY-7
They get then same obviously

I don't see why - currently it runs off the first 3 characters of your commander name - there is no need for unified system like aircraft tail numbers etc.

Allow me to add a "me too!" to this idea. In fact, I thought it would have been implemented in 2.4 already. Hopefully next update. Otherwise, what's the ID for?
