Horizons Have they changed the Rock or Outcrop distance on the SRV scanner to 50 Metres?

Hello
I am trying to get the materials for jumponium which for newbies is a load of materials that you use to make your
FSD jump 25% 50% or 100% further.

I read another post last week someone claiming that they have altered the SRVs detection on the round panel that has your
SRV on the display. I can see this now after playing it today and going prospecting on the planets surface. Its bad. or it maybe
just me from not driving an SRV for a while. but I remember it used to be a lot further.

you have to be nearly on top of the POI before its detected on it 50 Meters or less. As someone said and I remembered luckly
he used sight to locate materials on the surface. I'm looking for different coloured rocks now.

I have no problem with the main radar scanner. the one with the line or the sounds. Very good.

The no fly zone is Very hard to see now.

I have bought a Cobra MK3 to go prospecting and I have missed flying one. Very fast to get around systems and on the surface
of planets to get to new places. Much better than using one of my expensive ships. I dont care if its destroyed as its so cheap.

Ok so have they altered the SRV? and can you back this up with proof. as I think if they have it is bad.
Cheers. See you out there, I will be in one of my 20+ paintjobs for my cobra and my SRV is painted as well

Yes, it was reduced to 50 metres in 2.1.
Cheers Wolverine.

Thanks for the replies I have looked at the long discussion in the link by Brownshorts.
I have spent a few days driving around and I have seen enough. Mining in space you get what it says.
Metal rich means what it says. On a planet that's metal rich it's not. I would class them as Metal content low.

I should of stuck to doing passenger missions, as they have applied an update today. lol
Thanks again. Time to go and test what they have changed in horizons.
