Kind of yes and no.

I bought a joystick. Then I promptly sold it because it didn't work with elite alpha straight out of the box and I only bought it as a novelty.

I went straight back to keyboard only. I'll wait for the release before buying anything new.

I wont be buying TrackIR, Rift, voice attack etc. any time soon. I'm hoping that elite dangerous will be a nicely feature packed and well balanced complete package. That no add-ons are needed for highly immersive game play.

needed a PC upgrade anyhow, but the choice of CPU + GPU was driven by the fact that I'd pledged to the elite kickstarter.

Suspect the PC would have been around £300 cheaper had it just been to do my accounts on, which is what I told the wife I needed it for

Being a leftie, got a thrustmaster T1600 on order, should arrive tomorrow, and hopefully I'll finally be able to beat Recon Wing!!

Bought an entire new PC a year ago, while I had the money (also bought into alpha) A Core i7 3770K box with 16 gig RAM and GeForce GTX 680... Oh since then also bought a new Logitech M570 Trackball, a Black Widow Flightstick and some extenders for the XBox 360 controller. I am determined to find the best control method - at the moment it is looking like the M570.
Now I am poor, cannot even afford an Elite Key-ring...
