I did one time. It gave me a light heart attack. Luckily, the extreme heat was pretty forgiving on my ship and I was not thrown out of super cruise.
Below is a picture of the binary system I "crashed" into. The two stars were so close, it was not visible on the galaxy map, as I try to check for nasty binary stars or clusters on the map before heading in.
