Having Problems Finding a Good Source of Manganese

I've got a few questions here, first does anyone know of a planet that is a good source of Manganese? I've found a planet that has a 15.3% and despite there being rocks all over the surface none of them are collectible, it really seems rather random how the resources are dropped on the planet... I tried craters and valleys, plains, dark and light beige spots on the planet and nothing.

Would it be easier to find Manganese in asteroids? Instead of rock crawling over planet surfaces for hours?

Lastly, is it possible for ships scanners to pick up resources on the planet surface? Thus not needing to be in your SRV to find them?

You're looking for what mate? You mean Manganese perhaps?

If you're looking for it, high magnesium foods include dark leafy greens, nuts, seeds, fish, beans, whole grains, avocados, yogurt, bananas, dried fruit, dark chocolate, etc..

I have most luck finding Common materials in Bronzite Chondrite and Outcrops - so look for those specific signals. I seldom have to look for it as it's so much more abundant than the other rarer materials.

Awesome thanks I'll look for that. When you say outcrop are you referring to asteroid belts, REZ sites?

Outcrops are hemispherical lumps on planetary surfaces so warm up the SRV!
