Having problems with docking at planetary stations: Xbox one

Hello everyone,

I’ve been trying for a while now, but whenever I try to lock a planetary station as my destination, it never shows up on the screen (as in, when I exit out of system map, the nav ball/disc in the bottom left doesn’t show it), it only shows the planet itself as a locked destination.

I also don’t seem to be able to land on planets. When ever I get ‘to close’ to it, it drops me out of supercruise to high above the surface for a glide; and yes, I have horizons and the planetary approach suite installed. Does anyone know what’s happening/what I’m missing?

Thank you in advance.

I had this problem last night.
Go back to the main menu and a message should appear that new content is detected and installed.
ED on Xbox apparently has troubles seeing your add ons like Horizons.
I also lose connection sometimes when I go back to the main menu, restarting ED from Xbox dashboard fixes this.

Update: turns out....I didn’t have horizons. Which is embarrassing, considering the fact that I explicitly said I had it. I think I thought I had it because I thought it was an update (even though it’s not, it’s a season pass, well, it is an update I guess, but you have to buy it). Sorry for the trouble. Thanks for trying to help me though! And what you said may come in handy in the future, you never know.

Horizons is a great update to the base game, driving on a planet surface can blow your mind.
