I'm having a little trouble understanding why when I'm doing certain missions for EMPIRE aligned sub factions that I am losing REP, for example a kill pirate mission for a certain company that is empire aligned, and when I kill the pirates which clearly state "mission target" I lose empire reputation... Also courier missions I choose a faction that is with the empire yet when I deliver the package I LOSE rep. I'm really not sure what it is that I'm doing wrong, Any help much appreciated, because atm I'm losing more rep than I'm gaining so seems pointless to bother playing.
