It's Monday. You have to go to work. You get in the car, and find yourself unable to start the engine, and back out of the driveway.
That's what starting Elite felt like tonight.
By the time I had finished checking the news and bulletin boards, and looking to see just how much closer Mahon had gotten, I could not select "launch".
None of the missions interested me. I had more than enough cash. No need to trade like crazy. I had purchased, and positioned, all the maxed-out, discounted ships I wanted. I felt no great need to go on a long exploration trip. Seeking out combat was equally unappealing. I care little for Power Play.
Time to watch video and await the announcement of New Coke at Gamescon.
