Ships Having trouble finding stations with ships.

Not sure what I am going to upgrade to yet, however, I have noticed that not all stations will have all the different kinds of ships. I don't mean faction ships only obviously a clipper wont be in fed space.

But some stations/systems wont have a Vulture or ASP in them. Is there a reason for this? If so is there a way I can filter systems that are more likely to have all the ships in them?

When I get near an upgrade, I always make a note in my travels of where I saw the next ship I want for sale. I usually check each station to see what they have available. Other than that, the Elite Wiki maintains a list for each ship of stations where you can find them.

I dont think any one station has all the ships. Most I have seen in one spot is 10 or 11.

Other than that, you can always ask here on the forums where to find something, be it ships or outfitting. Most players will be happy to help.

If you go to Kanware Enterprise in the Cerno system you will find it has 13 of the 15 available ships, incl Vulture, Fer De Lance and Asp,
