I've been wanting to place it for a long time - Without much success (not without getting it "just so"). We've also placed an editable file in for the length of time you get to say "Mark" - So you can customise the timings. Default is 15 seconds. This feature will really help with the camera commands in 2.3 as well - We're currently researching how we can make camera presets for filmin

Funny thing with HCS Voice packs, I bought these right back when there was just the basic pack (have a few additional now) and yet to see a single update email since. Contacting them has fell on deaf ears, not overly a big deal since it was only a few bucks, but the Customer support is very lacking.

Contacted them twice. Reaction time was less than ten minutes, actually.
Perhaps I got lucky.

They seemed like real nice people, too.

We have a forum for support, there's 50 users in there right now, some of which re dedicated to being around most of the time - There's also me :) - I tend to answer emails along with FireyToad on info@theqnn.com - We answer all emails daily. In terms of our support "lacking", we are doing our very best to make sure we don't get any complaints (out of over 60,000 users, we've had less than 20, a good stat) Nevertheless, let me know what the issues are, I'll always try and help :)

I've always found HCS customer support to be outstanding.
I've even had a reply on a Sunday evening, within 30mins of sending my email.

Hello oracleboy,

My post was worded harshly(I been working 14 hours straight - please forgive the harshness), I love my HCS pack and it works flawlessly, just I have never seen an update email, and I emailed quite some time ago a few times with no reply about not seeing any when many were talking about it (and honestly I just forgot about trying again until seeing this post about update emails). I'll resend an email later today once work is done and see if I can get it sorted as would love to see the updates, HCS is the best add-on I seen for Elite, and even my old version adds a new dimension to the game.

I decided to clear my backlog of past Astra packs but kept the ones I created for music and personalised responses. Downloaded the new update today, and imported my personal VAP file into it..... And with a few embellishments, a little integration of said personal responses, plus a few tweaks here and there, (e.g, speeding up the docking procedure and adding some verbal commands I am used to voicing).... All is super good :)

I'm liking the 'on my mark' addition, as you can indeed prep Astra's commands to execute just when required. And with VoiceAttack/Astra being aware of 'Game States' (knowing when your docked etc) it really adds to the immersion with her reactions being relevant. . ...Nice !

It all look so nice, but for a non native english speaker it just sucks!
The speech recognition does NOT work as it should be!!!. With Cortana everything goes well, but with the speech recognition tool as engine, totally unsatisfying.

I have spend hours training the speech engine, added a dictionary and still basic words as 'map' he does not recognize.
Even bought me a good microphone, to get it working.

same here. I downloaded Eden. English is not my mother tongue. Switched Win10 to English and US English. Did the speechrecognition several times but VoiceAttack just hates my accent.

Soooo I just discovered that HCS Voice Packs are a thing. Wow. I am insanely impressed and quite excited to hand over my hard earned funds to these folks. I'm also met with an overwhelming sense of grief when I start thinking of who else I would love to have along side me out there in the black. The man who would have leapt at the opportunity to record one of these and would have likely done it at no charge as he so loved his character unfortunately left us recently. How amazing would a Spock pack be? It seriously almost makes me want to cry. Whelp. Admitting to crying over Leonard Nimoy in my first post to the forums...I seriously need friends. LOVE THE VOICE PACKS THOUGH!

Does this works with the latest Rift version? Or in other words, does the Rift has a build in mic which is good enough to catch the spoken commands for use with the voicepacks and voice attack software?
