TrackIR is about £150
The £10 DIY kit seems like a very involved process.
Can anyone recommend an off-the-shelf, ready-to-use, ED compatible product for less than £50 ?
well, I tried facetracknoir and in a brightly lit room it worked fine, but playing Elite in a dark room is awesome. Thanks Commanders -
I'll investigate both options.
If you have a webcam laying around you can use FaceTrackNoIR I'm using it and love it for dogfights. if you check the video it has a link to the .ini files i've uploaded and it'll give you a head start on setting up the curves.

I've tried using this but Elite Dangerous does not seem to 'see' it. Did you have to do anything special for it to work?
By the way - is it worth it if you have only one monitor?
I never used head tracking before but i think i will give it a try.
Ordered the Arduino parts and now waiting for them to arrive. It will be fun assembling it.
