Head tracking

I had the original Tobii Eyes and loved it. I then upgraded to VR and that was awesome. But since they nuked VR in Odyssey, I was thinking about getting head tracking as I now game with a 34" wide screen and the original Tobii won't work with that size of monitor.

How well is head tracking working with Odyssey? And is anybody working with the Tobii 5 on a large monitor?

There are a few posts about people managing to get limited VR working in Odyssey, so you might want to do a search before giving up.

Regarding Headtracking, I use TrackIR and it works well - the only thing is you need to either disable it in combat (one keypress) or set it to only use 3 DOF. If you don't do either of these then aiming is much more difficult.

I have the Tobii 5 and its fantastic. Well, its fantastic in F1, NMS, and Star Citizen (ugh). I've not used it in Elite, since I can't for the life of me get it working. (The other games have native support for it integrated, there's something I'm missing in Elite.)

That's odd, it use to work with the original.

Finally got there. 100% user error on my part. That said, does not work at all on foot, the thing goes crazy and the aiming dot is all over the place. (That's a known head tracking bug in Odyssey tho.)

I added to the issue tracker on this as well, thanks!
