Since the new update, chat window is a real pita. To be clear, I use VR, and have the panels activate by looking at them.
Before at a glance, I could always see the last few comments just by looking up at the chat area.
Now messages disappear and if I didnt catch them in the brief time they showed, If I look at the comms panel without using the toggle key to open it, it doesnt show ANY messages, just a blank page. I can't key down to open chat, I have to manually open the comms display, by using my toggle key, to see chat and then manually close it again.
I've looked at settings and can't seem to find a way around this, Im guessing it has something to do with squadrons bringing more channels so changes.
Am I missing something? I know it's not game breaking, but really, why won't the headlook comms panel display chat like the key toggled does? This is the only thing between all the displays that I have to manually toggle instead of using headlook...
